February 9, 2010: Grain Silo Arrives

A big shiny grain silo arrived on the brewery site today, courtesy of Kawartha Lakes Farm Service. It stands on six legs and can hold up to 22 metric tons of grain (enough for a few batches of beer, at least!). We'll use this silo to store our base malt, which we use in large quantities during the brewing process.
